Technology businesses like ours, it’s all about exporting IP and the margins are very high. When we try and raise finance, venture capitalists have always been very good to me, and it’s been a mutually beneficial and positive relationship. We’ve had our spats, but I would have no hesitation in using them again.
Tees Valley Regeneration can’t really give me cash, but they are very supportive. We often have meetings and they ask how things are going and if I need any introductions anywhere. They try and be helpful in whatever way they can.
