The business has been more successful in the first year than I ever dared think possible. The biggest success for us has been the acquisition of the best employees possible. I chose very carefully, having coaxed two of them out of retirement! And they are utterly invaluable. To be able to put my trust in them totally this early on in running a business has been a god-send.
There are challenges and pit-falls along the way. Taking each challenging situation and turning it around has been a real confidence boost. And success is not only measured in the monetary aspect, but in the work/ life balance I have now.
