If you have great plans, or hairy, audacious goals, you can inspire people to come and be part of the journey. It’s really important to spend a lot of time with people before they join. Make sure they share your vision and your values, and that you get on well together. You’ve got to believe and trust in each other. Everyone has to be on the same wavelength. Regular meetings are important, so you each know what the other’s doing, and make sure that you’re all moving at the same pace.
