In the beginning I think I spent too much time working. My girlfriend wasn’t happy and I didn’t spend enough time just having fun. But that’s getting a lot better now. We’ve reassessed the staff situation, making sure that everyone gets some fun, and now my work/life balance is really good. I try not to work weekends- they’re for me to do what I want, unless we’ve got a really big business deal coming up and then I get too excited, break my own rules and go to work.
I’ve also got some money now and I’m on a half decent wage, (still less than I would have had from Shell). Having money but having freedom as well, it’s a lot better than being a student! I’m just really enjoying myself now.
